ABOUT MEG PICTURES
Welcome to MEG Pictures! Founded in 2019 by Madeline Brown, MEG Pictures is a film production company that focuses on the horror and drama genre.
Madeline Brown is a graduate of Prairie View A&M University where she received my Bachelors of Art in Mass Communication. Through her coursework, she became well versed in all disciplines of communications, from social media best practices to how to write a compelling news release or blog post. As a student, she was extensively involved in the school community, which has allowed her to develop strong interpersonal skills. Her involvement in various events has allowed her to work closely with her peers while supporting the school community as a whole. Her organizational skills have also been put to the test in real-world settings, as she spearheaded multiple events for her organizations, such as a poetry night and major fair.
Through her studies, she learned multiple on-head skills through tv production and film set opportunities. From her sophomore year until graduation, she assisted with the University TV station as an Assistant Director. She trained under Theresa Dowell-Vest and Tony Clomax. During her time there, she learned skills such as organization skills, lighting and camera skills, and adaptability skills that will better help assist her with being a production assistant. She has also worked on film sets as both a set production assistant and an art department intern under the instruction of Vincent Powell. The role of a Set PA on the film Staycation (currently in post-production) has allowed her to develop several adaptability skills and organizational skills. It has prepared her to be hands-on and go where needed on a film set. Her role as an Art depart intern has given her skills to help me aid in set design, set construction, and costumes.
MEG Pictures is a dedication to my grandfather Martin Elmo Guillory Sr.
